This is not surprising given the position of the Bush Administration with regard to Online Gambling.
Clearly the leadership in this industry has passed to the Europeans who have a practical understanding of the positives and negatives surrounding the issue.
What is interesting is how many new land based casinos and casino extensions are being approved in the U.S. Given Arnold Schwarzenegger's progress with Native American Casinos in California surely other states are now considering the possibilities of developing new revenue from land based Indian gaming.
Online Gambling regulation would only further this potential for state governments especially those states that are already operating beyond their fiscal budgets.
